Combining 1200 years of experience in traditional Japanese Sumi Ink production with modern technology, Shadow Watercolors are crafted by blending rich, beautiful pigment with traditional bone glue to create deep blacks with distinct undertones. These watercolors are extremely lightfast and flow evenly. The colors are individually packaged in ceramic pans. The Ezumi Watercolor Set of 6 is a muted monotone color palette and includes Reddish Black (E03), Yellowish Black (E04), Greenish Black (E05), Bluish Black (E06), Purplish Black (E07), and Brownish Black (E08). The Mei Watercolor Set of 6 is a brighter, more vibrant color palette and includes Shadow Pink, Shadow Yellow, Shadow Green, Shadow Blue, Shadow Purple and Shadow Vermilion.
