High-color pigmentation combined with water solubility provides bold, bright colors capable of subtle blends. Aquarell’s colors become fluid when water is applied with a brush for blending, creating smooth edges, or filling in large areas. The colors are made with highly light-resistant pigments and can be used for drawing and painting techniques including dry or wet blending and using water to achieve transparent washes.
